ABOUT ME
A graduate in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a general physician degree, Dr. Jennifer Ortiz holds a Master's degree in Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-aging from the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona, University of Barcelona, where she acquired theoretical and practical knowledge of facial, body, and hair aesthetic medicine, completing her internship with Dr. Petra Vega, President of the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine. She also completed her master's thesis on how to recognize and treat potential adverse effects in Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Jennifer Ortiz completed her internship at Vall d'Hebron Hospital, where she became interested in the specialties that encompass the medicine and aesthetics aspects of her profession, rotating through specialties such as dermatology, acquiring general knowledge of skin pathologies, in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in the major burns unit of said hospital, as well as in the specialty of Maxillofacial Surgery where she was able to witness different orthognathic surgeries and delve into facial anatomy, important not only in the functional but also the aesthetic aspect of the patient, all of which has allowed her to have a more global vision of the patient when practicing her profession as an aesthetic doctor today.
During her senior year, Dr. Jennifer Ortiz completed an internship at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Canada, specializing in plastic surgery and dermatology. During this internship, Dr. Ortiz learned diagnostic and suturing skills in both specialties under the guidance of plastic surgeon Dr. Charles Orfali.
After completing her degree, Dr. Jennifer Ortiz traveled to Beirut, Lebanon, to begin her further exploration of facial aesthetic medicine with one of her mentors, maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Nabil Fakih. She returns there each year to refresh her knowledge of the safest and most cutting-edge treatments on the market.
He then spent time with maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Blas García, where he expanded his knowledge of facial anatomy after months of observing various procedures in the operating room.
These rotations with various aesthetic physicians, surgeons, and dermatologists, in addition to gaining the necessary experience from working in the best aesthetic medicine clinics, have allowed Dr. Ortiz to gain a comprehensive view of a patient's aesthetics, enabling her to make a 360-degree diagnosis.
Today, Dr. Jennifer Ortiz is fully dedicated to aesthetic medicine, offering consultations in Barcelona, Tenerife, and Madrid. Her passion for aesthetic medicine and global beauty, her ongoing training, and her patient satisfaction make her an exceptional professional for performing medical aesthetic treatments.
